Privacy policy
What data Emperoro collects, why it is collected, how long it is kept, and the rights readers have over it.
What we collect
Reading Emperoro does not require an account. We store a random identifier in your browser so that a page view is counted once and a poll can only be voted in once per browser. This identifier is not linked to your name, email or profile on any other service.
Our servers process standard request data such as IP address and user agent to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
What we do not do
We do not sell reader data. We do not build advertising profiles from your reading history, and article view counts are kept private to the newsroom rather than displayed publicly.
Advertising
Advertising space is reserved in the page layout. Where a third-party advertising provider is used, that provider may set its own cookies and is governed by its own privacy policy.
Retention
View and poll records are retained in aggregate. The random browser identifier can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's site data, which resets both counts and poll eligibility for that browser.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete data relating to you, and to object to processing. Email emperoroapp@gmail.com to make a request.
