Advertising disclosure
How advertising works on Emperoro, how ad space is separated from editorial, and how sponsored content is labelled.
Advertising placements
Emperoro reserves fixed space for advertising on the homepage, in article bodies and in the sidebar rail. These slots are laid out in advance so pages do not shift when an advert loads.
Adverts never appear inside the reporting sections of a story and are always visually separated from editorial content.
Editorial independence
Advertisers do not review, approve or influence editorial coverage. Buying advertising does not buy favourable coverage or protection from critical reporting.
Sponsored content
Any paid or sponsored article is labelled as such at the top of the page and is excluded from news feeds. Emperoro does not publish unlabelled paid coverage.
Affiliate links
If a story contains an affiliate link, it is disclosed in the story. Affiliate revenue never determines whether a product is covered or how it is assessed.
